Observed in the living room: GOOD BOY. A vintage natural-history plate (Plate IX, Fig. 1) with an antique engraved dog, labelled like a field guide: ears, tail, spots (not dirt, probably).

Why you might like it

• Looks like an antique print, not a novelty throw
• Small enough (30 x 40 in) for a pet bed, a car seat or a lap
• Makes the dog's favourite spot look intentional

Details

• Printed blanket, 30 x 40 inches (76 x 102 cm)
• Design on the front, soft back
• Not a toy: supervise pets that chew fabric

Care

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Follow the care label that comes with your item.
